Compatibility is determined by your equipment nameplate and manufacturer service manual. R-152a is only for systems specifically designed to handle A2 (flammable) refrigerants or those approved by the OEM for R-152a use. Never charge R-152a into a system designed for R-410A, R-22, or R-32 unless the manufacturer has published an approved conversion procedure with proper safety controls. When in doubt, call our technical line before ordering.
Under Section 608 of the Clean Air Act, refrigerants sold for appliance servicing can only be purchased by certified technicians. By checking out, you confirm you hold valid EPA Section 608 Type I, II, III, or Universal certification. We reserve the right to request credential verification before shipment.
Absolutely not. Mixing refrigerants creates unpredictable pressures, reduces system efficiency, contaminates recovery equipment, and violates EPA regulations. If a system has been contaminated, it must be fully recovered, flushed (if applicable), evacuated, and recharged with virgin refrigerant.
All cylinders ship as ORM-D (Other Regulated Materials-Domestic) via FedEx Ground or UPS Ground. Each unit is capped, sealed, wrapped in foam, and double-boxed. We have a 99.2% damage-free delivery rate across 3,400+ shipments.
Unopened cylinders with intact seals can be returned within 30 days for a full refund. We cover return shipping if the item is defective or incorrect. For safety and EPA reasons, we cannot accept returns on opened, partially used, or uncapped cylinders.
